In this project, we will:

 

  • Explore privacy and consent-related barriers to data sharing/donation among non-early-adopter populations.

 

  • Characterize the current landscape of privacy and terms of use agreements for popular commercially available mobile health technologies.

 

  • Evaluate perceptions of existing policies and develop and test new methods for consenting to terms of use in order to promote “safe” conditions under which individuals can donate their personal health data for research.
