Dr. Andrea Hartzler is an assistant investigator at Group Health Research Institute where she facilitates patient-centered care through the user-centered design of personalized healthcare technologies and services. She is passionate about leveraging patient-generated health data. Her research spans patient engagement, patient-provider collaboration, and peer support through interactive websites, social media, decision support tools, and mobile health applications. Dr. Hartzler holds a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Washington.
